Brown's Candy Factory Is Open Each Operating Day.

The colorful Brown family makes a wide variety of confections from select strawberries hand-dipped in chocolate to fudges, brittles, clusters, hard candies and much more. The shop also features an impressive selection of candies for sugar restricted diets.

Throughout the day, you'll be entertained and amused by lively, interactive demonstrations of fudge and brittle making.  While you're being entertained by "down home" Ozark humor, don't forget to sample the candies being demonstrated!

Sweet Treats

Many years back, as the Brown family was traveling west, they stopped to camp near Marvel Cave. They loved the area, and decided to stay a while. They dug for water, but to their dismay, hit corn syrup instead! Well, they had so much syrup they just had to find a way to put it to use. Making candy seemed to be the perfect answer!
 

 
Melt-In-Your Mouth Confections

Now this is a big family business with Maw, Paw, Aunts, Uncles, and all those cousins. That is, all except the Maples clan, because they've been banned for refusing to make anything but ol' taffy! They just couldn't adjust to all the fancy candies and chocolates that Maw formulated. But the folks that visit our fair city love all the different varieties of chocolates, brittles, nut clusters, suckers, jawbreakers, and such. No one leaves without a jaw full!
